The fine print, kept simple
Every image and video in your Iconogenic Stock membership comes with a standard commercial license — and no attribution is required. Use your downloads across your business without crediting Iconogenic Stock anywhere.
The Standard License is included with every membership. Selling templates or products with the images baked in — or using assets in items you produce for sale — needs the Extended License.
Once you've downloaded an asset as an active member, you may use it for commercial and personal projects worldwide, with no time limit — including:
You can crop, resize, retouch, and combine assets with your own work freely.
You never have to credit Iconogenic Stock or anyone else. If you'd like to, a mention is always welcome — but it's entirely optional.
Your license is non-exclusive. The same assets stay available to other members and may be licensed to them too — nothing in the library is granted to you exclusively.
You can use assets in work you produce for a client, as part of a bespoke deliverable made for that specific client — a website, a campaign, a brand identity. You may hand that finished deliverable to your client, and they may use it.
What you can't do is build an asset into a product that's distributed to many end users — a template, theme, UI kit, or anything resold or redistributed at scale. One asset inside one client's website is fine; the same asset baked into a template sold to hundreds of buyers is not.
Your client receives the right to use the finished work you delivered to them. They don't receive this license, and they can't extract an asset to reuse on its own — those rights stay with your active membership.
To keep the library valuable — and safe — for every member, you may not:
The recurring faces across the library are AI-generated. They do not depict real individuals, and no living artist's style is deliberately imitated.
Because these assets are AI-generated, they are designed not to depict identifiable real people or to reproduce protected works. This is the assurance we can give — no indemnification is offered beyond it. You are licensing AI-generated material, and you remain responsible for how you use it, particularly in the sensitive contexts noted above.
Occasionally we may retire an asset or take it out of the library — for example when a set is rotated out or a question is raised about it. When that happens, it simply stops being available to download. Anything you'd already downloaded stays licensed to you under these terms; removing an asset doesn't claw back uses you've already made.
Downloading is tied to an active membership. Assets you've already downloaded stay yours to use under this license, even after your access window ends — but you'll need an active membership to download anything new.
This page is written in plain language to explain how you can use your downloads; it isn't formal legal advice. Have a question about a specific use? See the Contact page — I'm happy to help.
